NDCS High School Programs
Academics are the foundation of the high school experience, and we are always finding innovative ways to enhance our students’ learning experience. At University Park, we are committed to the academic achievement of our students and to developing programming to address the academic, social, and emotional needs of the whole child.
College Preparatory Curriculum
Part of our mission at University Park is to prepare students for college and career success. And we are pleased to offer students a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum that not only helps them meet their post-secondary goals but gives them the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school.
Advanced Placement
Students at University Park can earn college credit before ever stepping foot on a college campus. By successfully completing and testing in Advanced Placement (AP) courses, students may skip equivalent introductory courses at many colleges.
At University Park, students can take:
- AP Biology
- AP Calculus
- AP English Literature
- AP World History
- AP European History
- AP Statistics
- AP U.S. History
Dual Enrollment Opportunities
We are pleased to offer students dual enrollment opportunities with several local colleges. Students can earn an associates degree, complete a recognized industry certification, or earn up to 30 college credits while still in high school!
Career Pathways
Our Career Pathways program prepares students to enter the workforce immediately after graduation or to pursue further education at a community college or university. We combine classroom instruction with work-based learning experiences and personal leadership development to help ensure every student is equipped to reach their career goals. Students may select from one of the following Career Pathways:
- Engineering
- Finance
- Information Technology
- Law and Diplomacy
- Medical Sciences
